Pokemon - Vaporeon

I hadn't sculpted in a while and wanted something fun to do to get back into it. I realise Vaporeon and the other Eevee variants are highly popular and some people may be sick of seeing them, but I still like them and I'm not ashamed of it even if everyone else does too.

Anyway, this is a personal interpretation, so he might not match up with your mental picture. The way I see it, the official art is very cartoony, so there's a lot of room for playing about with. I mainly based this version on the generation 1 sprites, especially the Green sprite - [link] - which is why he has snaggle teeth and extra fins. I prefer the dog-like face of the Green sprite to the newer versions... bit too flat faced for me.

Materials used are largely Sculpey clay over a wire and foil armature, with some Milliput epoxy for the fins. He's painted with acrylic paints and iridescent medium for a shimmery finish.
